Teacher's day celebrations!

Had an epic drama club performance which just cracked everyone up. After which went back to CCHMS, disappointed to only have seen Mr Ahmad and Ms Gan, and also a slight glimpse of Mrs Pereira. Kinda sad that all the teachers left before we even came back ,especially veronica tan, but oh well.

Then, went back home for a bath before getting chased out of the house to meet at tampines MRT station to go for 4MD class gathering-cum- bbq. Which was quite fun actually, got to meet up with (almost) everyone, which always account for a relaxing state of mind since you know that you are not the one suffering alone in the world of JCs, and not to mentions PW. Ate a little bit; like a chicken wing which was extremely nice and a somewhat burnt hot dog lol. Had some red wine as well, and was apalled at how some people can get 'drunk' as they claimed themselves to be.

Gibberish i call, they are merely feeling the effects of light headiness and dizziness. Thus, they are merely exaggerating their own behaviour in order to make their presence more well known, which is long for AA, which is short for Attract Attention.

Pardon for the overly-analytical of people's behaviour.

Accomplishment, Draft 1 Friday, August 14, 2009

The feeling of accomplishment. Ahh. Wonderful.

Passed up our WR Draft 1 on Tuesday, Hard copy. Though there's seriously a lot of work to do, we managed to pump out 44 pages of cold, hard, material!

Contrast this with my sis' WR, which was around 57 pages.

And both mine and her WR included annexes.

Movie day Monday, August 10, 2009

Watched Harry Potter just now;

Found it kinda conflicted; hard to understand for people who hadn't read the book. Giant loopholes in some areas and contextual errors. But, gotta admit that the atmosphere of the movie (not the cinema) wasn't bad at all. Some parts lost the 'link' which every story should have, particularly from one scene to another.

7/10.

One of the cameraman is racist - during the close up face-shot of the Indian commander (no offence here), it was first quite dark. Then, suddenly, as he was shouting the command, a light 'coincidentally' lighted up and made his face brighter and clearer.

Listened to start of NDP, and they said, celebrate 44(?) years of independence. Now. The word independence stresses the idea of decolonisation. It creates a sense of nostalgia and probably reference back to the colonial-era. A hint of colonialist flashback? Possibly.

And i think i'm going to end here. Lol. And go off to watch for awhile before returning to my chair of thought.
