Will our world come tumbling down?

Small warning, big notice.

I recieved an email claiming that hotmail service will not be free in the future, unless you allegedly send the message to god knows how many more people. It had an article from... CNN? i guess, and it was 'written' by the chairs of msn.

Word of warning: E-mails that tell you to send to how many people or you die, or have bad luck e.t.c, are usually mail that contain a virus in them, which is why they want you to send it to more people. *Note the word 'usually'

So, what does this mean? It means possibly that your computer has kena virus, and you have just sent the same thing to your friends. But you might ask: i see no change in computer! Well, viruses and worms often take time to be 'activated' by the creator before they start to take effect, so as to prevent preventive measure on the cause (in this case the email) of the problem of spreading.

So, beware.

Also, with regards to messenger, whenever someone sends a link to you, be sure to ask if that the person who is sending you the link is truly and intentionally sending you the link, otherwise you will be caught with some stupid bug that prevents you from coming online, and you will irritate your contacts by constantly sending messages that make no sense.
