It wasn't until a damn fed up woman shouted at the two kids to shut up, who were amazingly and extraordinarily noisy (add to that their mother didn't care) which made everything ever so much better. How i wanted to thank that woman!
Moving on to the role of parenting and its efficiency in today's age of new parents (Not applicable to our parents)
Parenting efficiency only occurs when there is allocative and productive efficiency.
Productive efficiency occurs when there the children are controlled at the most energy saving method. This is almost always never achieved nowadays as parents simply do not care about their freak noisy children.
Allocative efficiency occurs only when the right amount of parents are provided for the right amount of kids. Assuming that there can only be two parents, any which exceed the given 2 results in inefficiency. However, there are certain cases in which this is feasible, and as such this theory may not apply to all parents with >2 kids, ceteris paribus.

The presence of externalities also gives rise to parenting failure. Externalities are praising/scolding inflicted by other people (other than the parents) on the children, for which no compensation is given.
