Will our world come tumbling down?

100th post!

Lol. Stupid title, i know.

1 more week left to exams. How ready?

Swine flu cases up to 126, with suspected community transmissions. 3 cases in CCHMS, where they attended some form of assembly or mass gathering for a lesson or something.

Will the extra week come? Or will the big heads choose to take a big risk? H1N1 just isn't as deadly as SARS. Supposedly to be easily curable, how will events unfold over the course of the week?

Looming week ahead?

Following up to previous post, some doctors have suggested extending the june holidays by another week, prompting that schools are havens for the spread of disease, where children 'interact and socialise'.

This was around 1-2 days ago.

Just this afternoon, the school smsed us, "Do you have laptop/computer for e-learning at home? Reply Y for Yes and N for No," suggesting MOE has perhaps taken the piece of advice quite seriously. Good or bad news?

Short service announcement..?

As of now, H1N1, otherwise known as the catchy swine flu has reached 66 cases in Singapore. Here's a little something to possibly help in this time lol.

Speaking of the devil?

Just one or two posts before this i talked about chain mail and those msn crap. And guess what, a new one has appeared. Your friend will have his/her nick set as something like '(m) www.msnblock.net (m) and then he/she will send you an email titled something like 'check this out'.

Please don't open the email.

Interesting Picture

I wondered what happened to the first edition.

Small warning, big notice.

I recieved an email claiming that hotmail service will not be free in the future, unless you allegedly send the message to god knows how many more people. It had an article from... CNN? i guess, and it was 'written' by the chairs of msn.

Word of warning: E-mails that tell you to send to how many people or you die, or have bad luck e.t.c, are usually mail that contain a virus in them, which is why they want you to send it to more people. *Note the word 'usually'

So, what does this mean? It means possibly that your computer has kena virus, and you have just sent the same thing to your friends. But you might ask: i see no change in computer! Well, viruses and worms often take time to be 'activated' by the creator before they start to take effect, so as to prevent preventive measure on the cause (in this case the email) of the problem of spreading.

So, beware.

Also, with regards to messenger, whenever someone sends a link to you, be sure to ask if that the person who is sending you the link is truly and intentionally sending you the link, otherwise you will be caught with some stupid bug that prevents you from coming online, and you will irritate your contacts by constantly sending messages that make no sense.

:)

RF - Returning Fine

Roger Federer has made history - first person to win all 4 grand slams (only 6 others have done so) and also winning 14 grand slam titles (Australian, French, Wimbledon, US), equaling Pete Sampras' record.

Well and thoroughly deserved.

GP exam!!! on 1st June

Yea, i know kinda lag, guess i was too caught up with TS3. So GP, we had some passage on whether 'money buys happiness'. The saddest thing of all is that we only had <15mins of break between paper 1 and 2, and we were in air-con hall which is damn cold. So, had to go toilet when paper 2 started. Then, cannot complete AQ, didn't write finsih OV :(
