Will our world come tumbling down?

29 is the number

Unexpectedly, my GP paper 1 is seriously and surprisingly much better than what i expected. After the exam, i hoped for a 17. And now i've got a 29.

Its a C.

Like wtf? Who marked it?

It's like being back in the past, watching all those incredible people on 'Ripley's believe it or not'. This is probably one of those moments, of intense shock and disbelief - kinda similar to that experienced last year during promos (paper 2).

Though i would say this is probably the only 'surprise' that would be left.

Mindef

Methinks that the checkup was a waste of time, especially the vocational assessment part, which was an interminable pile of nonsense getting thrown and thrown and thrown at you.

Yes, it was THAT long. Lucky its over. 3 hours of a perfect holiday, ruined.

In the end, methinks i'm PES E.

Yea.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.

Yes. Its FREAKING repetition.

Exams exams exams.

I need motivation to study. It seems as though i've 'lost it' literally and figuratively after THAT incident.
Yea. This' kinda me now.

The controversial fire within

Dig deeper. Find something different. Find something different from who and what you think yourself to be.

(Picture title: Digging for Bones)

Personally, i think that everyone has something like an evil twin; a different and completely twisted persona from who they are from the surface. Subconsciously, everyone is injecting a wee bit of that personality into one of the most common actions of man - social interaction. Within basic conversations they hide, seamlessly juxtaposed.

People do not fail to notice this. I suspect some do, and intentionally perform for their audience to see. After all, "the whole world's [their] stage". Great actors. My suspicion lies in those who mainly see the world in only two colours - black and white, just as Rorschach did. There is no in-between, no grey, no middle line. Either you're with me or you're my enemy.

I believe I've said enough. This post ends now.

One man's meal is another's poison

Just something to ponder on.

Just to find out.

When watching movies, do you

a) go with the flow of the movie - just plain watching it

OR

b) you watch the movie and think about it - what something meant e.t.c

Shutter Island

Is anyone up for this? I think the release date is on 15th April thereabouts.

Flick a switch.

And what do you see?

What change do you feel?

Do you sense - a change in mood? A change in attitude? A change in action?

Flick.

Do you experience change?

Flick.

What about now?

Do you not feel nothing?

Flick.

Do you not feel anything?

Or do you pretend not to?

who.amung.us?

If you noticed, there is a reddish tab at the top right of the blog - this shows how many people are reading my blog at the same time that you are, so if you see >1 you can probably say hi on the tagboard.

If it shows 1 though, its most probably just you thats reading the blog, though im certain it will show at least 2, well at least when i'm online anyway.

THE Alice?

Just watched the newly released 'Alice in Wonderland', directed by Tim Burton almost moments ago. I'm still thinking of a word that can correctly describe what my memory just ate.

Though i won't say that its an excellent movie (like Dark Knight excellent), its definitely interesting. For me, the storyline was quite confusing at times, usually with the appearance of the mad hatter, and his unknown language at times. Though there were some humourous, moments at times, i would think that this is just the appearance of the movie, which was meant to convey perhaps a darker, more sinister meaning.

Its definitely not one of those movies where you watch and say "Eureka!", some parts were indeed confusing, and the story felt short; like more could be done to beef it up.

Nevertheless, it is an interesting movie. The good or bad depends on different people's perspectives.

"This fire is out of control...

... we're gonna burn this city, burn this city!"

Hazy, smoky air. What's up with this shit?

Its decreasing visibility, its suffocating people both by breathing and not breathing. I mean what the hell?

What's wrong with this screwed up weather? Rain has indeed been falling, but come on, a baby's tears can match up to the volume of water that falls.

Is it the extremely hot weather that has caused forest fires? Or is it the negligent burning of forests by people ironically trying to make a living while potentially killing people at the same time? Or has there been an international smokers day which i have not heard of; a secret cult of smokers that smoke a whole truckload of cigarettes individually?

Its relatively confusing.

When theres someone around that you generally dislike, you wish for that day to end quickly; swiftly.

And when that same person isn't there, you begin to see what they truly bring to the table, despite you disliking him/her, either only relatively or with a passion.
