What is free? Technically, its meaning is "without charge".
Free media? One would associate these words with freedom of speech, where governments are criticised, where political think tanks are brought down to their knees by the chains of the press, where great minds speak their thoughts, where
"thoughts meander like endless wind"
If the media is free, why should information not be free? Why do we need to pay for any of it? So that state bureaucrats can earn extra pocket money for their lunch money? Why should magazines not be free? Why are they placed in plastic wrappers, surrounded by sticky tape that seals all holes from it, creating a vacuum within? Why should these materials be sealed up as though they were the crowned jewels of the tower of London, the famed Faberge eggs of Russia?
